I have decided to take on this Post Grad course at MindLab to challenge my practice and my thinking. To put myself on the wobbly bridge of learning if you like. I ask my students to 'challenge themselves' and to 'stretch and grow their brains' on a daily basis, so this is a chance for me to take on that challenge for myself and walk the talk.
I am very excited about the course content presented so far. I really hope to build on the knowledge I have gained in recent years through the quality PD that we have been offered at school and can see that all the pieces will really come together.
I am looking forward to working alongside my colleague, Kerrie from PPS, so that together we can take what we learn and share it with the rest of the staff at our school.
As I increase my knowledge and skills that should also reflect in my practice and therefore should be flow on effects for the the children in my class.
Let the journey and the fun begin!
